Meet Kim Rumph, Piano Instructor

Kimberly Rumph is a native of Summerville, South Carolina who is currently earning a degree in Arts Management and Music from The College of Charleston.

From a young age, Kim was always inspired by music and loved to compose music in her free time. After convincing her mom to enroll her into piano lessons while in high school, she found that within six months she began playing music by classical composers such as Ludwig Van Beethoven and Johann Sebastian Bach. Within a year, she continued to play music that usually takes musicians years to masters.

Continuing to grow as a musician, Kim then began teaching beginner students, which she credits to helping her become a more well-rounded student herself. Kim continues to compose music and was recently able to put her composing to use when she had an opportunity to compose music, which was performed by some of her fellow college musicians. Kim has also had the opportunity to intern with the Country Music Television (CMT) network, which has further ignited her passion for music.
Kim also continues to take lessons from some of the most talented professors, because she believes that one can always grow and achieve more.

Kim has become a valuable member of the Fancy Fingers Piano Studio. Her students have excelled in their studies, and she enjoys sharing her musical talents with others. She is a patient, fun-loving instructor who inspires her students to learn more and have excellence in their musical endeavors.
